Description
5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan) is an intermediate amino acid formed from tryptophan and is extracted from the Griffonia seed. It is a direct precursor to serotonin, the ‘feel good hormone’ and as such aids with mood support. 5-HTP has also shown to support sleep by increasing brain melatonin levels.
