The African Potato contains up to 50 000 times as many sterols as vegetables. Plant sterols/sterolins are known to possess potent anti-inflammatory properties similar to cortisol. The active ingredient in sterols and sterolins can assist to give effective relief for the treatment of aching joints, cracked heals, fibrositis, sunburn, muscular pain and injury, sprains, skin rash, insect bites and eczema.
